Within an hour drive you can find over 50 public, private or semi – private golf courses in different qualities and price ranges. Prices are depending on the season and time of day played.

You can save a lot of money if you pay the fees directly on the courses. In the newspaper, in golf flyers or on the web you can occasionally find coupons with more than 50% off for fees.

For choosing the courses we recommend reading descriptions at the websites because some courses are short with predominantly 3 – par – wholes. Partially the club houses and restaurants close in the afternoon. It`s better you ask before starting to play if you like to stay after the round.

Palmetto Pines Country Club, Cape Coral www.palmettopine.com The formerly private course is only ten minutes from “Eagle View” and very recommendable. The course is imbedded in a very nice community. It is in a good shape, varied to play and has very fast greens. Partially the lanes are very tight with a lot of trees. Water and bunkers are well placed.

Magnolia Landing Golf Club, North Fort Myers www.magnolialanding.com The course is located about 35 minutes in the north from “Eagle View”. It`s a new one in a spacious community with an impressive club house and good service. The course offers 16 lanes of water but also has enough space to place the ball dry. Pinewoods and oak groves complete the course. The course is worth playing.

River Hall, Country Club, Lehigh Acres www.riverhall.cc The course is located about 40 minutes away from “Eagle View”. River Hall opened in 2007, designed in a classical style by Davis Love III. The course has only isolated water bars but fast, often heightened greens. Partially the flat fairways require long drives. The course offers a laid – back play.

Old Corkscrew Golf Club, Fort Myers www.oldcorkscrew.com Old Corkscrew is located also about 40 minutes from “Eagle View”.  A Jack Nicklaus designed course opened in 2007, and within one year was voted as the most beautiful course in Florida. . Spacious and surrounded by forests this course offers high quality for every golfer`s heart. Water, bunker, wastelands and partially divided fairways require a strategic play. But the course is fair and offers for every level of golf experience an adventure. If you have enough time this course is a must to play!
